Keira Rathbone Typewriter Art

London based artist, Keira Rathbone, captures amazing detail using old, manual typewriters.  Keira has quite a collection of typewriters that she uses to capture architecture, nature, still life, and faces using a wide variety of letters, numbers, symbols, and punctuation.

I think it’s so cool to see artists using and repurposing old items as their medium that we’ve thought to be practically extinct in such a creative and unique way.

Well, after yesterday’s post, J.Crew Went Color Happy, and all the rainbow bright trends lately, I figured Jessica Kerbawy was the perfect artist to showcase today.   Her crayon art is such a fun expression of color!  Love it!

Antique Burlap Chair by wiseabe

wiseabe doesn’t always do burlap furniture like this piece, but they are planning to do more in the future.  However, they do typically develop and sell great burlap bags. Every time you purchase a bag you help send a student from a third world country to college!  Such a great program!
